THE NATURAL CALAMITY AT UTTARAKHAND

      Konkan Railway shares the sorrow of the Nation for the loss of lives and property of the people in Uttarakhand. It is also a matter of grave concern that thousands of pilgrims have lost their precious lives during the heavy floods in the State of Uttarakhand, which is an unfortunate natural calamity.

        Though the loss is irreparable, the Employees of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited, as a small gesture towards this social cause, have contributed whole heartedly a sum of Rs. 21 Lacs for the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

        It has been the tradition of Konkan Railway to be at the forefront not only for its innovative services with smiling face but also to stand by the Society and the Nation in its need of the hour.
