In terms of the instructions received from Ministry of Railways, Konkan Railway is observing “Rail Hamsafar Saptaah” from 26th May to 1st June 2016.

As a part of the same, intensive monitoring of trains, interaction with passengers and redressal of grievances by Officers were undertaken to minimize the grievances and to ensure Customer Satisfaction. The inspections and interactions were carried out by Heads of Departments, Regional Railway Managers and Field Officers. The suggestions and grievances received through Social Media are also being analyzed at the level of Chairman & Managing Director, General Manager (Administration) as well as at the level of Regional Railway Managers for redressal. These activities have boosted the moral of passengers with the feeling that someone cares for them.
