VIGILANCE WEEK ON KONKAN RAILWAY

Vigilance Awareness week is being observed in all the offices of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd from 27th October to 1st November, 2014. As a part of the Vigilance Week, the Chairman & Managing Director of Konkan Railway, Shri Bhanu Prakash Tayal, administered a pledge of integrity and transparency to the employees at its Corporate Office at Navi Mumbai on 27th October.

Banners, Posters etc. creating public awareness have been displayed at prominent locations in and around the Konkan Railway offices and at important stations. During the week long program, seminars, debate competition, essay competition, plays / skits by railway staff on the theme of corruption were organized as part of the program. Suggestions for system improvement were also called from the employees. The winners of the various competitions were felicitated by Shri Tayal today at a small function wherein all officers and staff of Konkan Railway participated.

Vigilance Bulletin ‘Sachetak’, containing articles and guidelines on Vigilance, was also released on the occasion.
