Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following special  trains for pilgrims to attend the annual feast at Velankanni during September 2024. Details are as under.

1) Train no. 01007 / 01008 Madgaon Jn. - Velankanni - Madgaon Jn. Special Express:

Train No. 01007 Madgaon Jn. - Velankanni Special Express will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 12:30 hrs on Friday i.e. 06/09/2024. Train will reach Velankanni at 12:25 hrs on the next day.

Train No. 01008 Velankanni - Madgaon Jn. Special Express will leave from Velankanni at 23:55 hrs on Saturday i.e. 07/09/2024. Train will reach Madgaon Jn.  at 23:00 hrs on the next day.

Train will halt at Karwar, Kumta, Honnavar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor (H), Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Mangaluru Jn., Kasaragod, Payyanur, Kannur, Tellicherry, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn., Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur Jn.,  Tiruchirappalli Jn., Thanjavur Jn., Thiruvarur Jn. & Nagapattinam stations.

Composition : Total 19 LHB Coaches = 2 Tier AC - 02 Coaches, 3 Tier AC - 06 Coaches, Sleeper – 07 Coaches, General - 02, SLR - 01, Generator Car - 01.

The bookings for Train nos. 01007 will open on 04/09/2024 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
