Quality infrastructure and amenities play a crucial role in Railways to ensure improvised passenger satisfaction. Konkan Railway is focusing on enhancing the services and infrastructure to achieve high level passenger satisfaction. Konkan Railway has taken up the project for “Roha - Veer Track Doubling” and “Construction of 10 new stations & 8 Loop Lines” at various places over its route.
The construction work of Track Doubling between Roha - Veer Section is in progress and is in the advanced stage of completion. During the progress of the track linking of Main Line, Loop Line and associated works, it will be difficult for passengers to board and alight from trains at Goregaon Road Halt station.
The construction work of new loop line and platform at Sape-Wamne Halt station is in progress. During these works it will be difficult for passengers to board and alight from trains at Sape-Wamne Halt station.
To ensure safety of passengers during the progress of these works it has been decided to suspend halt for passenger traffic at Goregan Road (Halt) station from 14th December 2019 to 12th January 2020 and Sape-Wamne (Halt) stations from 14th December 2019 to 02nd January 2020.
