Film shooting & Still / Video Photography over Konkan Railway

Konkan Railway  is running between Mumbai and Mangalore through mountains that soar into the clouds, lunging valleys hills and beautiful terrain.  This route is more popular for its natural sight and International Tourist destination Goa which attracts domestic / international tourists as well local people.

Konkan Railway stations are popular locales for film shoots In recent years, films like Kidnap, Plan, Musaffir, and Kuch Na Kaho have been shot on Konkan Railway (KR) terrain, along with Raj Kumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.

1) The charges towards Film shooting are as under :

Further, the licence fee for shooting of Documentary films (not involving participation of film stars/personalities) other than feature film and Advertisement Films in railway premises/ trains is  indicated below:

2) Other Charges & Requirements

  • Security Deposit against Licence fee of Film Shooting (Refundable) -  Rs.5,00,000/-
  • Service Charges- 30%of Total Charges
  • GST @ 18% of Total Charges
  • Bank Guaranteetowards loss & damages etc for Rs.5,00,000/-
  • Comprehensive Insurance Policy forRs.5 Cr.
  • Agreement & Indemnity Bond
  • Power of Attorney executed by the Producer
