I am proud of having delivered two sets of

Diesel Electrical Multiple Units (DEMU) for

the first Indo-Nepal rail link flagged off by

two Prime Ministers simultaneously. Hon' ble

Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi,

Flagged Off the first India-Nepal rail link

between Jaynagar in India and Kurtha in

Nepal along with Hon’ble Prime Minister of

Nepal, Shri Sher Bahadur Deuba. The 1,600

HP propulsion DEMU trains to Nepal with

five cars each were manufactured by the

Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.

Along with their operations & maintenance,

our teams are hand-holding the initial train

and line operations, providing training to

Nepal Railway employees, setting up a

basic rail system offering all possible

technical help for track and signalling

supports.
