Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to extend the periodicity with revised timings of the following Special Trains in coordination with Western Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during festive season. The details are as under:
1) Train no. 09424/09423 Gandhidham Jn. - Tirunelveli Jn. - Gandhidham Jn. Weekly Festival Special (Fully Reserved):
Train no. 09424 Gandhidham Jn. - Tirunelveli Jn. Weekly Festival Special will leave from Gandhidham Jn. at 04.40 hrs every Monday from 07th to 28th December 2020. Train will reach Tirunelveli Jn. at 23:35 hrs on the next day.
Train no. 09423 Tirunelveli Jn. - Gandhidham Jn. Weekly Festival Special will leave from Tirunelveli Jn. at 07:40 hrs every Thursday from 10th to 31st December 2020. Train will reach Gandhidham Jn. at 02:45 hrs on the third day.
Train will halt at Ahmedabad, Vadodara Jn., Surat, Vasai Road, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Mangaluru Jn., Kozhikode, Shoranur Jn., Thrissur, Ernakulam Jn., Kayamkulam Jn., Thiruvananthapuram Central and Nagercoil Town stations.
2) Train no. 09578 / 09577 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli - Jamnagar Bi-Weekly Special Express:
Train no. 09578 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli Bi-Weekly Special Express will leave from Jamnagar at 21:20 hrs every Friday & Saturday from 04th December 2020 until further advice. Train will reach Tirunelveli at 18:20 hrs on the third day.
Train no. 09577 Tirunelveli - Jamnagar Bi-Weekly Special Express will leave from Tirunelveli at 07:40 hrs every Monday & Tuesday from 07th December 2020 until further advice. Train will reach Jamnagar at 04:25 hrs on the third day.
Train will halt at Rajkot, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad Jn., Vadodara Jn., Ankleshwar, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon Jn. Karwar, Udupi, Mangaluru Jn., Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur Jn., Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn., Alappuzha, Kayamkulam, Kollam Jn., Thiruvananthapuram Central, Parassala, Nagercoil Town and Valliyur stations.
All norms of State & Central Government regarding COVID-19 including social distancing, sanitization etc. should be followed in trains and at the Railway stations.
