It has been decided by Southern Railway to undertake infrastructure up-gradation works of commissioning of double line  between  Ettumanur - Kottayam - Chingavanam stations over Southern Railway. Repercussions to train services are as under:

Train no. 12202 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Bi-Weekly Express journey commences on 08/02/2022, 12/05/2022, 19/05/2022, 22/05/2022 & 26/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

2. Train no. 12201 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kochuveli  Bi-Weekly Express  journey commences on 23/05/2022 & 27/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

3. Train no. 22113 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Bi-Weekly Express journey commences on 24/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

4. Train no. 22114 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Bi-Weekly Express journey commences on 26/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

5. Train no. 16312 Kochuveli - Sri Ganganagar Weekly Express journey commences on 21/05/2022 & 28/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

6. Train no. 16311 Sri Ganganagar - Kochuveli Weekly Express journey commences on 24/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

7. Train no. 16334 Thiruvananthapuram Central - Veraval Weekly Express journey commences on 23/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala & Ernakulam Jn.

8. Train no. 16336 Coimbatore Jn. - Nagercoil Jn. Weekly Express journey commences on 24/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha, Cherthala & Ernakulam Jn.

9. Train no. 19259 Kochuveli - Bhavnagar (T) Weekly Express journey commences on 26/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha, & Ernakulam Jn.

Regulation of Train:

1. Train no. 16311 Sri Ganganagar - Kochuveli Weekly Express journey commences on 10/05/2022 & 17/05/2022 is regulated between  Ernakulam Town  & Kottayam stations for 45 minutes.
