Position of Trains on Konkan Railway route

Six passenger trains were regulated at various stations on Konkan Railway route and these 6 trains are running one to two hours late following derailment of one wheel of a Goods train between Adavali and Nivsar stations at 0330 hrs today. The affected wagon was re-railed at 0636 hrs and the traffic has been restarted.

Due to the derailment, only the following 6 passenger carrying trains will be running late by 1 to 2 hours. None of the other passenger carrying trains are likely to be affected. The 6 trains are :

1. 16333 Veraval – Thiruvananthapuram Exp

2. 12133 CSTM – Mangalore Jn Exp

3. 10111 Konkankanya Exp

4. 11003 Dadar – Sawantwadi Rajya Rani Exp

5. 12202 Kochuveli – LTT Garib Rath

6. 12617 Ernakulam – Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Exp

The officials of Konkan Railway rushed to the spot of derailment and effected an expeditious restoration of the traffic. Prima Facie cause of the derailment is not yet known.

Inconvenience caused to the public is deeply regretted.
