RUNNING OF GANPATI SPECIAL TRAINS ON KONKAN RAILWAY
Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run following special trains on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival in co-ordination with Central Railway. The details are as under :-
1) Train no. 01033/01034 Mumbai CST – Madgaon Reserved special
Train No. 01033 CSTM – Madgaon special train will leave from CSTM at 00:20 hrs on 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th, 31st August and on 1 – 3 and 5 – 10 September 2014. The train will reach Madgaon at 14:10 hrs on same day.
Train No. 01034 Madgaon – CSTM special train will leave from Madgaon at 14:40 hrs on 26th, 27th, 29th, 30th, 31st August and on 1 – 3 and 5 – 10 September 2014. The train will reach CSTM at 04:30 hrs on next day.
The train will run 6 days a week (Except Thursday). The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations.
The train will have One 2-tier A.C. coach, Two 3-tier A.C. coaches, Ten Second Class Sleeper coaches, Three General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
2) Train no. 01037/01038 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Ratnagiri – Lokmanya Tilak (Unreserved) Special
Train No. 01037 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Ratnagiri special train will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 01:00 hrs on 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th, 31st August and on 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th September 2014. The train will reach Ratnagiri at 09:05 hrs on same day.
Train No. 01038 Ratnagiri – Lokmanya Tilak (T) special train will leave from Ratnagiri at 11:30 hrs on 23rd, 25th, 27th, 29th, 31st August and on 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th September 2014. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 19:20 hrs on same day.
The train will run on alternate days. The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar stations.
The train will have Twelve Ordinary Chair Car coaches, Four General coaches, and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
3) Train no. 01039/01040 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Karmali – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Reserved Special
Train No. 01039 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Karmali special train will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 13:00 hrs on 25th August, and on 1st and 8th September 2014. The train will reach Karmali at 01:40 hrs on next day.
Train No. 01040 Karmali – Lokmanya Tilak (T) special train will leave from Karmali at 10:00 hrs on 26th August and on 2ndand 9th September 2014. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 23:15 hrs on same day.
The train will run weekly, on Mondays Ex-LTT and on Tuesday Ex-Karmali. The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem and Thivim stations.
The train will have One 2-tier A.C. coach, One 3-tier A.C. coach, Thirteen Second Class Sleeper coaches, Five General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
04) Train no. 01041/01042 Mumbai CST – Karmali – Mumbai CST Bi-weekly Reserved Special
Train No. 01041 CSTM – Karmali special train will leave from CSTM at 12:50 hrs on 26th and 30th August and on 2nd, 6th and 9th September 2014. The train will reach Karmali at 01:40 hrs on next day.
Train No. 01042 Karmali – CSTM special train will leave from Karmali at 10:00 hrs on 27th and 31st August and on 3rd , 7th and 10th September 2014. The train will reach CSTM at 23:20 hrs on same day.
The train will run on Saturdays and Tuesdays Ex-CSTM and on Sundays and Wednesdays EX-Karmali. The train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem and Thivim stations.
The train will have one First AC Cum 2AC Coach, One 2-tier A.C. coach, Two 3-tier A.C. coaches, Twelve Second Class Sleeper coaches, Five General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
05) Train no. 01043/01044 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Karmali – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Reserved Special
Train No. 01043 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Karmali special train will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 13:00 hrs on 28thAugust and on 4th and 11th September 2014. The train will reach Karmali at 01:40 hrs on next day.
Train No. 01044 Karmali – Lokmanya Tilak (T) special train will leave from Karmali at 10:00 hrs on 29thAugust and on 5th and 12th September 2014. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 23:15 hrs on same day.
The train will run weekly, Ex-LTT on Thursdays and Ex-Karmali on Fridays. The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem and Thivim stations.
The train will have One 2-tier A.C. coach, Two 3-tier A.C.Coaches, Seven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
6) Train no. 01003/01004 Dadar – Sawantwadi (Unreserved) Special
Train No. 01003 Dadar – Sawantwadi special train will leave from Dadar at 07:50 hrs on 24th, 26th, 29th, 31st August and on 2nd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th September 2014. The train will reach Sawantwadi at 20:30 hrs on same day.
Train No. 01004 Sawantwadi – Dadar special train will leave from Sawantwadi at 04:50 hrs on 25th, 27th, 30th August and 1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th September 2014. The train will reach Dadar at 16:10 hrs on same day.
The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Zarap stations.
The train will have Seven Ordinary Chair Car coaches, Four General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
