KONKAN RLY’S CONTRIBUTION TO HON’BLE PRIME MINISTER’S NATIONAL RELIEF FUND

Konkan Railway shares the sorrow of the people of Jammu & Kashmir for the loss of lives and property caused during the recent floods in the State. Though the loss is irreparable, the employees of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited and the Konkan Railway Women’s Cultural & Social Service Association (KRWC&SSA) have contributed a sum of ` 25 Lakh towards the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund as a small gesture towards providing relief to the affected people.

This small gesture on the part of the employees of KRCL will go a long way in providing necessary relief to the people of J&K.

The Cheque was recently handed over on behalf of the KRCL employees by Shri Bhanu Prakash Tayal – CMD of KRCL, to Shri Suresh Prabhu – Hon’ble Minister for Railways.
