BETTER SERVICE TO PASSENGERS BY KONKAN RLY THROUGH  SMS SERVICE , TOLL-FREE NUMBER , AND MOBILE APP

 
As its constant endeavor to provide value added services to its passengers, Konkan Railway had introduced SMS service on 15th August, 2014 vide which passengers could send an SMS on mobile No. 9004470700 related to any service on Konkan Railway route.  A toll-free number 1800 266 1332 was also launched recently by Konkan Railway to enable passengers to know current status of trains on Konkan Railway route. A new Mobile App to enable passengers to know the time-table & current status of trains has also been launched by KRCL this week on Google Play Store.

The messages sent are monitored round the clock by staff at Central Control at the Corporate Office of Konkan Railway at Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The number has only data facility and hence no voice calls can be made.

The services can be utilized by passengers for any passenger related issue faced  over Konkan Railway jurisdiction from Kolad to Thokur only.
