“SARATHI SEVA”

A Service for the Physically Challenged Passengers travelling on Konkan Railway Route

Konkan Railway being a responsible Corporate Citizen, has introduced a unique ‘Sarathi Seva’ Service for the Physically Challenged Passengers.

In this service, wheel-chair along with an Assistant is provided free of cost to physically challenged passengers at nominated stations from coach to exit  and vice versa. At present this scheme is available at Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Karmali, Madgaon and Udupi stations.

To avail this service, Passengers are required to simply send an SMS with their names and journey particulars to Mobile No. No.9664044456. The rest is taken care of by Konkan Railway. So far about 175 physically challenged passengers have availed of this service.

Our esteemed Physically Challenged Passengers travelling on Konkan Railway Route may kindly avail of these services, which are exclusively dedicated to them as a goodwill gesture, as Konkan Railway believes in “Sadar Seva” with a Smiling Face !
