Annual Safety Inspection of Konkan Railway route has been carried out by Commissioner of Railway Safety / Central Circle, Shri Aravind Kumar Jain on 12th & 13th April – 2018  alongwith  Chairman & Managing Director Shri Sanjay Gupta, Directors and respective Head of the Departments.
On 12th April he has done inspection of Nathuvadi Tunnel, Bijghar Cutting, Karanjadi Station, Level Crossing Gate, Points & Crossings and Panval Viaduct in ROHA – MADGAON section.
At Ratnagiri, Konkan Railway staff demonstrated various rescue skills which was well appreciated.
Further inspection of Khadem Cutting, Mudgeri Tunnel, Bridge, Karwar Station and Level Crossing Gate were carried out on 13th April of MADGAON – SURTHKAL section.
Commissioner of Railway Safety / Central Circle has expressed satisfaction over safety standard maintained  by Konkan Railway to ensure the safety of train and passenger.
