Welcome to the Ramakrishna Hegde Skill Development Centre, a key initiative under
the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Konkan Railway Corporation
Limited. The Centre, established to empower the youth with essential skills, was
inaugurated with great pride and vision by the then Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Shri
Suresh Prabhu, on November 16th, 2015.
On February 15th, 2016, the first Soft Skills Training program was officially launched.
This initiative aims to equip participants with crucial interpersonal and professional
skills.

Our Impact
Since its inception, the Ramakrishna Hegde Skill Development Centre has
successfully conducted 86 courses, benefiting a total of 6,929 candidates so far,
including 2,425 males and 4,504 females. Our training programs cover a wide range
of topics, including:

• Office Etiquette
• Employment Opportunities in Railways
• Communication Skills
• CV Writing
• Interview Techniques
• Time Management
• Start-ups & Entrepreneurship
• Public Speaking, etc.

Experts from management colleges, training centres and from Konkan Railway
conduct these sessions.
