The Ramakrishna Hegde Skill Development Centre honours the vision of Shri Ramakrishna Hegde and is run by Konkan Railway Corporation. The Centre provides industry-relevant training to youth from the Konkan and coastal Karnataka regions to improve employability and workplace readiness.

Communication, Leadership, CV Writing, Interview Techniques, Time Management, Employment in Govt. Sectors and workplace etiquette to boost confidence and professional behavior.
Online job search techniques, Social media for jobs
Hands-on sessions on starting small ventures and industry-aligned technical modules.
Experienced faculty, practical exercises, industry-oriented curriculum and re-enrolment options for selected modules ensure sustained learning. Trainees leave with improved employability, increased confidence and tools to pursue careers in corporate and public sectors or start their own ventures.
The Centre operates alongside Konkan Rail Academy (Madgaon) and its centres in Bhatkal and Mangalore. The Academy trains Konkan Railway staff and conducts executive programs, while the Skill Development Centre focuses on community outreach and youth upskilling.
Join our mission to upskill the youth of the Konkan region. Industries gain access to trained, job-ready professionals. Contributors may support the program through funds or faculty participation.
