Position of Trains on Konkan Railway route

Train services on Konkan Railway route are likely to be affected for a few hours today due to derailment of 12 wagons of a Goods train between Chiplun and Kamathe station on the route at 0745 hrs. Accident Relief Trains (ARTs) have left for the site. Konkan Railway officials have also rushed to the site for an early clearance of the line.

Passenger carrying trains are likely to be regulated / diverted / cancelled or trans-shipment would be arranged. Details of the same would be given in a short while.

Inconvenience caused to the public is deeply regretted.
