Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to run the following special trains as train on demand and to clear extra rush of passengers during the Weekend / Ganapati Festival-2026. Details are as under:

Konkan Railway joined the nation in celebrating the spirit of freedom and patriotism with great enthusiasm and pride. On the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, Chairman & Managing Director, Konkan Railway, hoisted the National Flag and inspected the Railway Protection Force (RPF) contingent at Konkan Rail Vihar, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.

Good News for passengers!!! It has been decided to extend the temporary augmentation of extra coaches in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers.
