Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following One Way special train in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during Summer season - 2026. Details are as under:

Train no. 01173 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. One Way Special :

Train No. 01173 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. One Way Special will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 11:30 hrs on 14/06/2026 (Sunday). The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 01:30 hrs on the next day.

Monsoon is on the verge of onset in the Konkan region. Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has intensified its safety measures by introducing night patrolling over critical sections and deploying stationary watchmen round-the-clock at vulnerable locations. As part of this enhanced vigilance, a Safety Seminar on Monsoon Patrolling, along with a live demonstration of patrolling procedures, was organised at Ratnagiri on 03.06.2026 by the Safety Department of KRCL. 

In a major initiative to strengthen regional logistics and enhance customer engagement, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) organized a high-level Trade Meet at Ratnagiri on 03.06.2026. The event served as a collaborative platform to interact with valued freight customers and apprise them of the recently upgraded and upcoming freight infrastructure across the Konkan Railway network.

Reinforcing its commitment to passenger hygiene, food quality, and passenger safety, Konkan Railway took prompt action against an unauthorized tout found selling spoiled fruits onboard Train No. 12052 Madgaon Jn. – Mumbai CSMT Janshatabdi Express on 31.05.2026. Catering services on this train were under the management of IRCTC. 

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to regularise Train No.09057 / 09058 Surat - Mangaluru Jn. - Surat Special as Train No.19057 / 19058 Surat - Mangaluru Jn. - Surat (Bi-Weekly) Express Ex. Surat from 03.06.2026 and Ex. Mangaluru Jn. from 04.06.2026. Details are as under:

Train no. 01173 / 01174 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Special (Weekly) :

Train No. 01173 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. Special (Weekly) will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 00:25 hrs on 30/05/2026 (Saturday). The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 15:15 hrs on the same day.

It has been decided by Central Railway to extend the short termination of the following trains at Dadar & Thane stations for further 25 days, till 12.06.2026, due to ongoing platform extension work at Mumbai CSMT. Repercussions to Train services are as under: 

Short Termination:

1) Train no. 22120 Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express journey commences from 27/05/2026 to 12/06/2026 will be short terminated at Dadar.
