Train No. 04580 Chandigarh - Thiruvananthapuram Central Reserved Superfast Special Express will leave on Sunday, 07/12/2025 from Chandigarh at 07:15 hrs. The train will reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 14:45 hrs on the third day.

Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Winter / Christmas - 2025. Details are as under.
1) Train no. 01151 / 01152 Mumbai CSMT - Karmali - Mumbai CSMT Special (Daily) :
Train No. 01151 Mumbai CSMT - Karmali Special (Daily) will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 00:20 hrs daily from 19/12/2025 to 05/01/2026. The train will reach Karmali at 13:30 hrs on the same day.

Elderly Passenger Safely Reunited – Prompt Action by Konkan Railway RPF
On 4th December, a 75-year-old passenger travelling by Train No. 19577 Tirunelveli - Jamnagar Express was safely reunited with his family after he mistakenly alighted at Chiplun.
Rescue of Missing Child on Mangaluru Express
On 04th December 2025, on Train No. 12133 Mangaluru Express at Karwar, Shri Raghvendra Shetty, Head TTE/MAQ, spotted a 13-year-old boy, travelling alone in Coach S3. The child was unable to provide clear details about his journey, but his school ID card was found during checking his bag.
Safe Rescue of Runaway Minor at Udupi Railway Station
On 4th November 2025, under “Operation Nanhe Farishte,” a proactive intervention at Udupi Railway Station ensured the safety of a runaway minor.
During a routine inspection at the station’s portico area, IPF C&I Karwar / Udupi, along with CT Shri Sunil K.C. and CT Shri Reminmohan, found a 16-year-old girl from Madhya Pradesh sitting alone in a suspicious manner. On enquiry, it was revealed that she had run away from home without informing her parents.
Second Ro-Ro Rake with Enhanced 57-Ton Capacity Commences on Konkan Railway
Konkan Railway’s Roll-on Roll-off (Ro-Ro) service, a cost-effective solution enabling loaded trucks to be transported on railway wagons, continues to enhance freight efficiency along the Konkan Railway route.
The first rake, with Ro-Ro wagons carrying up to 57 tons, commenced on 05th November 2025. The second rake with the same enhanced capacity has now been introduced from 03rd December 2025.
