Konkan Railway once again demonstrated its strong commitment to passenger safety and social responsibility through its alertness and timely intervention.

Konkan Railway continues to accord highest priority to safety, ensuring that its systems, assets, and operational practices are continuously monitored and enhanced through regular audits. As part of this commitment, Intra Railway Safety Audits are periodically undertaken across all regions to assess readiness, identify potential risks, and reinforce standardised procedures that support safe and reliable train operations. In line with Railway Board directives, the Intra Railway Safety Audit of the Karwar Region was conducted on 11th and 12th November 2025.

As notified by South Western Railway, the following trains are Cancelled due to Line Block between Sankaval - Cansaulim - Majorda ( Single line) from 18/11/2025 to 01/01/2026 ( 45 Days). 

The Non Monsoon timings of the following trains are revised with immediate effect over Konkan Railway. Details are as under :

Konkan Railway Protection Force (RPF) successfully apprehended four individuals involved in a jewellery theft case and recovered stolen gold ornaments valued at approximately ₹50 lakh, along with ₹34,500/- in cash. The timely coordination and alert action by the RPF led to the swift detection of the case.

It has been decided by Southern Western Railway to cancel / partially cancel the following trains to take up the Line Block at Bridge No. 292 at 107/800-900 between Sankval - Vasco Da Gama section from 22/11/2025 to 24/11/2025. Details are as under.
