Revision in composition of Trains

Permanent Augmentation of Coaches in Trains
It has been decided by Western Railway to augment extra coaches in the following trains on a permanent basis. Details are as under:
Short Termination of Trains at Dadar & Thane station upto 29.05.2026
It has been decided by Central Railway to extend the short termination of the following trains at Dadar & Thane stations for further 10 days, till 29.05.2026, due to ongoing platform extension work at Mumbai CSMT. Repercussions to Train services are as under:

1) Train no. 22120 Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express journey commences from 20/05/2026 to 29/05/2026 will be short terminated at Dadar.
Running of Additional Summer Special Trains by Konkan Railway
Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following additional summer special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during Summer Season 2026. Details are as under.
Train no. 01106 / 01105 Madgaon Jn. - Panvel - Madgaon Jn Weekly Special :
Train No. 01106 Madgaon Jn. - Panvel Weekly Special will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 16:30 hrs on 24/05/2026 & 31/05/2026 (Sunday). The train will reach Panvel at 04:00 hrs on the next day.
Konkan Railway Intensify Ticket Inspection Drive
In the month of April-2026, KRCL organized 934 ticket checking drives with routine ticket checking activities, detecting 37,000 cases of unauthorized / irregular travellers. An amount of ₹ 2.90 Cr was collected from these passengers towards due railway fare and penalty.
Cumulatively, during the financial year 2025–26, a total of 11,394 special ticket checking drives have been conducted. These drives led to the detection of 4,99,675 cases of unauthorized / irregular travellers, with a total recovery of ₹ 27.68 Cr as Railway fare and penalties.
