Konkan Railway RPF Saves Passenger Attempting to Alight from Moving Train at Madgaon

At Madgaon Station on 23rd November 2025, a passenger attempting to alight from the moving Train No. 20112 Konkan Kanya Express during its 19:00 hrs departure from Platform No. 1 slipped and fell between the train and the platform. RPF Constable Shri Kapil Saini and Head Constable Shri R. S. Bhai, who were on duty at Platform No. 1, acted with exceptional alertness and immediately rescued the passenger.

Acknowledging their commendable alertness and timely intervention, Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, CMD, Konkan Railway, has awarded both RPF personnel ₹10,000/- each.

KRCL Continues Safety Focus with Intra Railway Audit of Karwar Region

As part of this commitment, Intra Railway Safety Audits are periodically undertaken across all regions to assess readiness, identify potential risks, and reinforce standardised procedures that support safe and reliable train operations. In line with Railway Board directives, the Intra Railway Safety Audit of the Karwar Region was conducted on 11th and 12th November 2025.
