Improvement to Passenger amenities on Konkan Railway is a continuous process. With a view to meet the expectations of the passengers, Konkan Railway is making all efforts to provide improved facilities at stations.

Hon'ble MP, Shri. Vinayak Raut, Hon'ble MLA, Shri. Rajan Salvi along with other dignitaries inaugurated the Loopline no. 2 at Rajapur Road Station. Konkan Railway has taken up the project for “Construction of 10 new stations & 8 Loop Lines” at various places over its route. As a part of this project of Capacity Augmentation, Konkan Railway has commissioned Loopline No. 2 at Rajapur Road Railway station. This newly commissioned Loopline will reduce the bottleneck and improve the efficiency in train operations.
