Safe Rescue of Runaway Minor at Udupi Railway Station
On 4th November 2025, under “Operation Nanhe Farishte,” a proactive intervention at Udupi Railway Station ensured the safety of a runaway minor.
During a routine inspection at the station’s portico area, IPF C&I Karwar / Udupi, along with CT Shri Sunil K.C. and CT Shri Reminmohan, found a 16-year-old girl from Madhya Pradesh sitting alone in a suspicious manner. On enquiry, it was revealed that she had run away from home without informing her parents.
After providing counselling and completing all necessary legal formalities, the girl was safely handed over to the Child Help Desk, Udupi, ensuring her well-being and protection.
This operation underscores the continuous commitment of Konkan Railway to passenger safety and child protection across its network.
