Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to run special trains in co-ordination with Western Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year. Details are as under :
1) Train No. 09124 / 09123 Vadodara Jn. - Kottayam Special on Special Fare:

Train no. 09124 Vadodara Jn. - Kottayam Special on Special Fare will leave from Vadodara Jn.  at 06:05 hrs on Saturday, 20th & 27th December 2025 and 03rd & 10th January 2026. The train will reach Kottayam at 19:50 hrs on the next day.

Train no. 09123 Kottayam -  Vadodara Jn. Special on Special Fare will leave from Kottayam at 21:00 hrs on Sunday, 21st & 28th December 2025 and 04th & 11th January 2026. The train will reach Vadodara Jn. at 06:00 hrs on the third day.

Train will halt at Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Bhivandi Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor (H), Kundapura, Udupi, Surathkal, Mangaluru Jn., Kasargod, Kannur, Tellicherry, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn., Thrissur, Aluva & Ernakulam Town stations..

Composition : Total 21 LHB Coaches  = First AC - 01 Coach, 2 Tier AC - 02 Coaches, 3 Tier AC - 06 Coaches,  Sleeper - 06 Coaches, General - 04 Coaches, SLR/D - 01, Generator Car - 01.
