It has been decided by South Western Railway to Cancellation, Short Origination & Short Termination of below trains due to NI program in connection with provision of additional Shunt signals to improve the yard flexibility at Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru and Banaswadi station. Repercussion to train services are as under :

1. Train no. 16586 Murdeshwar - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express journey commences on 03/01/2026 is partially cancelled between Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru.
    
2. Train no 16511 Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru - Kannur Express journey commences on 04/01/2026 is partially cancelled between Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru - Yesvantpur Jn.
    
3. Train no 16512 Kannur - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Express journey commences on 03/01/2026 is partially cancelled between Yesvantpur Jn. - Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru and will be short terminated at Yesvantpur Jn.
    
4. Train no. 16585 Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru - Murdeshwar Express journey commences on 04/01/2026 is partially cancelled between Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru - Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru.
