Konkan Railway continues to prioritise the safety and security of passengers through constant vigilance. On 09.02.2026, during routine ticket checking in Train No. 22150 Pune–Ernakulam Superfast Express, an unclaimed bag was noticed in B1 Coach.

The bag was promptly secured and handed over to the Railway Protection Force for further action. The bag contained cash amounting to ₹4,933/-, a wallet, Aadhaar card, ATM and credit cards, keys, charger, data cable, earphones and other documents.

Konkan Railway appeals to passengers to remain alert and report any unattended belongings to railway staff to help maintain a safe and secure travel environment.
