Konkan Railway Corporation Limited successfully organised a Business Suppliers Meet on 23rd March 2026 at Hotel Taj Vivanta, Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. The event brought together around 130 key stakeholders and industry partners, reaffirming KRCL’s commitment to fostering strong and transparent business relationships.

The meet was chaired by Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, CMD/KRCL, in the presence of Independent External Monitors (IEMs), Smt. Meenakshi Mishra and Shri Manoj Kumar Chhabra. The gathering provided a valuable platform for open dialogue and collaborative engagement between Konkan Railway and its Business partners.

The programme aimed to strengthen collaboration, streamline tendering processes, and address operational challenges, reinforcing KRCL’s commitment to transparency and efficiency.

The event featured insightful presentations, interactive sessions, and constructive discussions covering key aspects such as tendering procedures (Goods, Works & Services), vendor registration, payment processes including GST related issues, and emerging business opportunities with KRCL. Special emphasis was placed on handholding of MSME vendors, promoting participation of Women and SC/ST entrepreneurs, as well as addressing concerns related to scrap disposal and grievance redressal mechanisms.

The meet received an overwhelmingly positive response, with participants appreciating the initiative and expressing confidence in continued collaboration, reaffirming Konkan Railway’s commitment to strengthening partnerships and fostering a transparent, growth-oriented business ecosystem.
