Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following Special trains  in co-ordination with South Western Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during Good Friday & Easter 2026. Details are as under: 

Train no. 06271 / 06272 Yesvantpur - Madgaon Jn. - Bengaluru Cantt. Express Special:

Train no. 06271 Yesvantpur - Madgaon Jn. Express Special will leave from Yesvantpur at 23:55 hrs on 02/04/2026 (Thursday). The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 17:30 hrs on the next day.

Train no. 06271 Yesvantpur - Madgaon Jn. Express Special will halt at Kunigal, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur,  Subrahmanya Road, Kabakaputtur, Bantwala, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Mookambika Road Byndoor(H), Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Honnavar, Kumta, Gokarna Road, Ankola, Karwar & Canacona stations. 

Train no. 06272 Madgaon Jn. - Bengaluru Cantt. Express Special will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 11:00 hrs on 05/04/2026 (Sunday). The train will reach Bengaluru Cantt. at 05:20 hrs on the next day. 

Train no. 06272 Madgaon Jn. - Bengaluru Cantt.  Express Special will halt at Canacona, Karwar, Ankola, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Honnavar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor(H), Kundapura, Barkur, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Bantwala, Kabakaputtur, Subrahmanya Road, Sakleshpur, Hassan, Channarayapatna, Kunigal & Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru stations.

Composition : Total 19 Coaches = 2 Tier AC - 02 Coaches, 3 Tier AC - 02 Coaches, Sleeper - 09 Coaches, General - 04 Coaches, SLR - 02.

The bookings for Train no. 06272 will open on 01/04/2026 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
