In the month of May-2026, KRCL organized 951 ticket checking drives with routine ticket checking activities, detecting 61,051 cases of unauthorized / irregular travellers. An amount of ₹ 3.70 Cr was collected from these passengers towards due railway fare and penalty.

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) appeals to all passengers to travel with valid tickets to ensure a safe, smooth, and hassle-free journey. To maintain maximum comfort and convenience for bonafide passengers, KRCL will continue its intensified ticket-checking drives across its entire route, in coordination with Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel and Railway officials. Passengers are requested to cooperate and support KRCL in ensuring safe, secure, and comfortable travel for all.
