RUNNING OF GANPATI SPECIAL TRAINS  ON KONKAN RAILWAY

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run following special trains on Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival in co-ordination with Western Railway.  The details are as under :-

1) Train no. 09416 / 09415 Ahmedabad – Madgaon -  Ahmedabad  Tri-weekly

Train No. 09416 Ahmedabad – Madgaon special train will leave from Ahmedabad at 16:55 hrs on 25th, 28th, 31st August and on 1st ,04th,07th, and 08th September 2014.  The train will reach Madgaon at 16:30 hrs on next day.
Train No. 09415 Madgaon – Ahmedabad  special train will leave from Madgaon at 20:00 hrs on 26th, 29th August and on 01st,02nd, 05th, 08th, and 09th  September 2014.  The train will reach Ahmedabad at 20:00 hrs on next day.
The train will halt at  Nadiad,Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Dhanu Road, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations.
The train will have One 2-tier A.C. coach, Two 3-tier A.C. coaches, 07 Second Class Sleeper coaches, 06 General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.

2) Train no. 09009 / 09010 Bandra (T) – Madgaon – Bandra (T)

Train No. 09009 Bandra (T) – Madgaon special train will leave from Bandra (T) at 00:15 hrs on 27th, 28th, 30th, 31st  August and on 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 10th  September 2014.  The train will reach Madgaon at 16:30 hrs on same day.
Train No. 09010 Madgaon – Bandra (T) special train will leave from Madgaon at 20:00 hrs on 27th, 28th, 30th, 31st  August and on 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, and 10th  September 2014.  The train will reach Bandra (T) at 13:20 hrs on Next day.
The train will run Four days in a week. The train will halt at  Andheri, Borivali, Vasai Road,  Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Sangameshwar,Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations.
The train will have One 2-tier A.C. coach, Two 3-tier A.C. coaches, Six Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General coaches and Two luggage cum Brake Vans.
