Southern Railway has decided to undertake upgradation works between Ettumanur - Kottayam - Chingavanam stations and Aralvaymoli - Valliyur station  for commissioning of double line in Thiruvananthapuram Central division in Southern  Railway from 06/03/2022 to 21/03/2022. Repercussions to train services are as under :

Diversion of Trains :

1. Train no. 12202 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Express journey commences on 06/03/2022, 17/03/2022, & 20/03/2022 is diverted via Alleppey  with stoppages at Alleppey & Ernakulam Jn. on diverted route.

2. Train no. 12201 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kochuveli Express journey commences on 18/03/2022, & 21/03/2022 is diverted via Alleppey  with stoppages at Ernakulam Jn. & Alleppey on diverted route.

3. Train no. 12113 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kochuveli Express journey commences on 19/03/2022 is diverted via Alleppey  with stoppages at Ernakulam Jn., Alleppey, Ambalapuzha & Haripad on diverted route.

Regulation of Trains:

1. Train no. 16312 Kochuveli - Shri Ganga Nagar Express journey commences on 19/03/2022 will be regulated for 50 minutes at Changanacheri / Chingavanam stations.

2. Train no. 16334 Thiruvananthapuram Central - Veraval Express  journey commences on 21/03/2022 will be regulated for 40 minutes.

3. Train no. 16336 Nagercoil Jn. - Gandhidham Jn. Express  journey commences on 22/03/2022 will be regulated for 50 minutes at Changanacheri station.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 19578 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli Jn. Express  journey commences on 11/03/2022 is partially cancelled between Nagercoil Town  - Tirunelveli Jn. section.
