In continuation to Press Release dated 29/04/2022 regarding  “Upgradation work over Southern Railway”, It has been decided by Southern Railway to extend the infrastructure up-gradation works of commissioning of double line  between  Ettumanur - Kottayam - Chingavanam stations over Southern Railway on 29/05/2022. Repercussions to train services are as under:

Diversion of Trains:

1. Train no. 22113 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kochuveli  Bi-Weekly Express journey commences on 28/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.

2. Train no. 12202 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Bi-Weekly Express journey commences on 29/05/2022 is diverted via Alappuzha skipping stoppages at Chengannur,  Tiruvalla & Kottayam and providing stoppages at Harippad, Ambalapuzha, Alappuzha & Ernakulam Jn.
