Between Murdeshwar - Bhatkal section in Karwar region over Konkan Railway, Heavy Rain (of around 403 mm in a period of 05 hrs) a cloud burst  situation was reported. Due to which, water logging, Soil slippage occurred resulting in disruption of the Train services in this region. Restoration work is under progress and efforts are being made to restore it at the earliest at around 12:00hrs . Repercussion to Train services are as under:

Short Termination:

01) Train No. 06602 Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Jn. Special journey commences on 02/08/2022 is short terminated at Udupi station.

Cancellation of train:

01) Train No. 06601 Madgaon Jn. - Mangaluru Central  Special journey commences on 02/08/2022 is  fully cancelled.

Regulation of Trains:

1) Train No. 11098 Ernakulam Jn. - Pune  Express journey commences on 01/08/2022 is regulated at Bhatkal station.

2) Train No. 16595 KSR Bengaluru Station - Karwar  Express journey commences 01/08/2022 is regulated at Shiroor station.

3) Train No. 16334 Thiruvananthapuram Central - Veraval Express journey commences 01/08/2022 is regulated at Senapura station.

4) Train No. 12201 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kochuveli Express journey commences 01/08/2022 is regulated at Ankola station.

5) Train No. 16516 Karwar -Yesvantpur Express journey commences 02/08/2022 is regulated at Honnavar station.

6) Train No. 20924 Gandhidham - Tirunelveli Express journey commences 01/08/2022 is regulated at Kumta station.
