Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run following special trains in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers during Summer season - 2026. Details are as under:

1) Train no. 01171 / 01172 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Special (Weekly) :

Train No. 01171 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. Special (Weekly) will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 00:20 hrs on every Thursday from 16/04/2026 to 11/06/2026. The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 15:15 hrs on the same day.

Train No. 01172 Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Special (Weekly) will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 16:00 hrs  from 16/04/2026 to 11/06/2026. The train will reach Mumbai CSMT at 03:45 hrs on the next day. 

Trains will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road,  Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim & Karmali stations. 

Total 22 Coaches = 2 Tier AC - 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC - 06 Coaches, Sleeper - 09 Coaches, General - 04 Coaches, SLR - 02.

2) Train no.01119 / 01120 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly):

Train No. 01119 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon Jn. special (Weekly) will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 00:55 hrs on every Friday from 17/04/2026 to 12/06/2026. The train will reach Madgaon Jn. at 15:15 hrs on the same day.

Train No. 01120 Madgaon Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly) will leave from Madgaon Jn. at 16:00 hrs on every Friday from 17/04/2026 to 12/06/2026. The train will reach Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 03:30 hrs on the next day.

The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road,  Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim & Karmali stations. 

Composition : Total 21 LHB Coaches = First AC - 01 Coach, 2 Tier AC - 03 Coach, 3 Tier AC - 07 Coaches, Sleeper - 08 Coaches, Generator Car - 02.

The bookings for Train no. 01172 & Train No. 01120 will open on  17/03/2026 at all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS), internet and IRCTC website.
