It has been decided to operate a 03 hrs mega block for maintenance of assets between Ratnagiri - Vaibhavwadi Road section on 21/06/2023 (Wednesday) from 07:30 hrs to 10:30 hrs. Repercussion to train services are as under:

1. Train no. 11003 Dadar - Sawantwadi Road Express journey commences on 21/06/2023 will be regulated for 02:30 hrs between Roha - Ratnagiri section.

It has been notified by South Western Railway to cancel the Train no. 07380 / 07379  Vasco Da Gama - Kulem -  Vasco Da Gama DEMU passenger (daily) for 12 days from 19/06/2023 to 30/06/2023 to take up Line Block for 02 hours from 12:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs for Through Rail Renewal (TRR) work between Sankval - Vasco Da Gama mid - section over Hubballi division. It has been decided to operate a 04 hrs mega block for maintenance of assets between Madgaon - Kumta section on 15/06/2023 (Thursday) from 11:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs. Repercussion to train services are as under:

1. Train no. 06602 Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Jn. Special journey commences on 15/06/2023 will be short terminated at Kumta station and partially cancelled between Kumta and Madgaon section.

It has been decided by Western Railway to short terminate / Partially cancel the following Special trains due to Cyclone Biporjoy:

1. Train No. 20909 Kochuveli - Porbandar Express journey dated 11/06/2023 will be short terminated at Rajkot station & partially cancelled between Rajkot -  Porbandar.

2. Train No. 20910 Porbandar - Kochuveli Express journey dated 15/06/2023 will originate from Rajkot station & Partially cancelled between Porbandar - Rajkot.

The Konkan region is known to receive heavy rainfall during the monsoon season. Konkan Railway gears up for the onset of Monsoon season. Special attention has been given to catch water drain cleaning and inspection of cuttings. The large-scale geo-safety works executed along the railway line in the last few years have significantly reduced the incidences of boulder fall and soil slip, thus ensuring safe running of trains. No major disruption to train services have occured on account of boulder fall during monsoons in the last 10 years.
