Southern Railway has decided to undertake upgradation works for commissioning of double line between Padil - Kulashekara section in Palakkad division over Southern Railway from 16/02/2022 to 07/03/2022. Further, Southern Railway also decided to renumber Train no. 56640 / 56641 Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Jn. - Mangaluru Central Daily Passenger as Train no. 06602 / 06601 Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Jn. - Mangaluru Central Daily Express Special with effect from 18/02/2022 (Friday). 

Repercussions to train services due to upgradation works are as under :

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 16515 Yesvantpur - Karwar Express journey commences on 04/03/2022 is fully cancelled.   

2. Train no. 16516 Karwar - Yesvantpur Express journey commences on 05/03/2022 is fully cancelled.

3. Train no. 11097 Pune Jn. - Ernakulam Jn. Express journey commences on 05/03/2022 is fully cancelled.

4. Train no. 56640 (06602) Mangaluru Central - Madgaon Jn. Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is fully cancelled.    

5. Train no. 56641 (06601) Madgaon Jn. - Mangaluru Central Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is fully cancelled.

6. Train no. 11098 Ernakulam Jn. - Pune Jn. Express journey commences on 07/03/2022 is fully cancelled.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 16595 Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru City Jn. - Karwar Express journey commences on 05/03/2022 is partially cancelled between Kabakaputtur - Karwar - Kabakaputtur station.

2. Train no. 16595 Karwar - Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru City Jn. Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is partially cancelled between Kabakaputtur - Karwar - Kabakaputtur station.

Rescheduling of Trains:

1. Train no. 12618 H. Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Jn. Express journey commences on 05/03/2022 is rescheduled by 04 hrs ex. H. Nizamuddin.   

2. Train no. 12202 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is rescheduled by 06 hrs ex. Kochuveli.

3. Train no. 12617 Ernakulam Jn. - H. Nizamuddin Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is rescheduled by 04 hrs ex. Ernakulam Jn.

4. Train no. 20909 Kochuveli - Porbandar Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is rescheduled by 04 hrs ex. Kochuveli.

5. Train no. 16346 Thiruvananthapuram Central - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is rescheduled by 04 hrs ex. Thiruvananthapuram Central.

6. Train no. 10215 Madgaon Jn. -  Ernakulam Jn. Express journey commences on 06/03/2022 is rescheduled by 01:30 hrs ex. Madgaon Jn.

 Regulation of Trains:

1. Train no. 16515 Yesvantpur - Karwar Express  journey commences on 02/03/2022 will be regulated at Mangaluru Jn. for 60 minutes.

2. Train no. 19578 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli Express  journey commences on 05/03/2022 will be regulated for 60 minutes.
