Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to run following Special Trains in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Aanganewadi & Holi Festival 2022.

01) Train no. 01161 / 01162 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Sawantwadi Road -  Lokmanya Tilak (T) (Weekly) Special :

Train No. 01161 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Sawantwadi Road (Weekly) Special will leave from Lokmanya Tilak (T) at 23.45 hrs on 23rd February 2022 (Wednesday). Train will reach Sawantwadi Road at 10.00 hrs on the next day.

In continuation to the press release dated 15/01/2022, the upgradation of Infrastructure works viz. Tunnel Maintenance and Railway Electrification are in progress between Ratnagiri - Madgaon section. Hence it has been decided to extend the cancellation of Train no. 10101  / 10102 Ratnagiri - Madgaon Jn. - Ratnagiri Daily Express on a temporary basis up to 31/03/2022 (Thursday) which was earlier cancelled upto 02/02/2022.

Passengers are requested to kindly note the same. Inconvenience caused is regretted.

Central Railway has decided to undertake Upgradation Works of 5th & 6th line between Thane - Diva Jn section of Mumbai Division over Central Railway on from 05/02/2022 to 07/02/2022. Repercussion to Train services are as under:

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 22119 Mumbai CSMT - Karmali  Express journey commences on 05/02/2022 (Saturday)  & 06/02/2022 (Sunday) is fully cancelled.

It has been decided by North Western Railway to augment coaches on a temporary basis in the following train to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under :

1. Train no. 22475 / 22476 Hissar Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Hissar Jn. Weekly Express : 02 Three Tier AC Coaches are augmented to the existing composition of 18 LHB Coaches. Train will run with a revised composition of 20 coaches on  following days:

Western Railway has decided to standardize rakes in the following trains as per details given below:

A) One Second Seating coach & one Sleeper coach by one 2 Tier AC  coach and one 3 Tier AC coach in the following trains.  These trains will run with standardized rakes of Total 23 coaches:

1. Train no.  19578 / 19577 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli - Jamnagar Bi-Weekly Express:

In continuation to Press Release dated 18/01/2022 regarding the work of launching 63m Girder for Road Over Bridge of National Highway NH-66 / PWD in Goa state between Karmali and Verna section which was scheduled from 24/01/2022 to 10/02/2022 is now postponed till further advice.
