In continuation to the Press Release Regarding “Running of Ganpati Special Trains - 2020” dated 14/08/2020,  it has been decided to run additional Ganpati Special Trains in co-ordination with Western Railway between Mumbai Central / Bandra (T) & Sawantwadi Road / Kudal stations to clear extra rush of passengers.  Details of trains are as under.

1) Train no. 09007 / 09008 Mumbai Central - Sawantwadi Road - Mumbai Central Weekly Special on Special Fare:

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most sacred festivals celebrated in the Konkan region. Considering the importance of the festival and keeping in mind the current scenario of Corona pandemic, Konkan Railway in co-ordination with Central Railway has decided to run Ganpati Special Trains between Mumbai CSMT / Lokmanya Tilak (T) & Ratnagiri / Sawantwadi Road / Kudal stations to clear extra rush of passengers.  Details of trains are as under.

Railway Board has decided to cancel, partially cancel and divert the following trains:

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 06346 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special Express journey date from 09/08/2020 to 20/08/2020 is cancelled.

2. Train no. 06345 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Thiruvananthapuram Central Special Express journey date from 09/08/2020 to 20/08/2020 is cancelled.

In continuation to the press release dated 06th August 2020 regarding position of  the trains on Konkan Railway route, the following trains are diverted. Details are as under :

Due to heavy rain in last 24 hrs, tunnel lined wall inside Pernem tunnel at Km 384/6-7 between Madure & Pernem station of Karwar region collapsed at 02:50 hrs on 06th August, 2020. The traffic in this section has been  suspended till further advice. There are no casualties or injuries reported. Konkan Railway officials rushed to the site for early restoration.

Due to this the following trains are diverted :

It has been decided to run Train No. 00168 Parcel Special from Verna to Kori station. Train will leave from Verna at 23:30 hrs on Sunday 26/07/2020 and reach Kori at 09:45 hrs on third day. The parcel train will carry essential commodities.

It has been decided to run Train No. 00166 Parcel Special from Verna to Kori station. Train will leave from Verna at 19:00 hrs on Tuesday 21/07/2020 and reach Kori at 05:15 hrs on the third day. The parcel train will carry essential commodities.

It has been decided to run parcel special trains between Vasco-Da-Gama and Sankrail Goods terminal Yardin co-ordination with South Western Railway. The parcel train will carry essential commodities.

Train no. 00639 Vasco-Da-Gama - Sankrail parcel special will leave from Vasco-Da-Gama  at 21:00 hrs on Monday, 22nd June 2020. Train will reach Sankrail at 19:15 hrs on the third day.
