It has been decided to run Train No. 00138 Parcel Special from Verna to Ambala Cantt station. Train will leave from Verna at 21:00 hrs on Tuesday 28/04/2020 and reach Ambala Cantt at 09:35 hrs on the third day. The parcel train will carry essential commodities.

It has been decided to run Parcel Special Trains between Vasco-Da-Gama & M/S Continental Warehousing Corporation Ltd./ Diwana station siding (PCWD) in co-ordination with South Western Railway.

Train no. 00695 Vasco-Da-Gama - Diwana station siding (PCWD) parcel special will leave from Vasco-Da-Gama at 21:00 hrs on Friday, 24th April 2020. Train will reach Diwana station at 10:30 hrs on the third day.

It has been decided to run Train No. 00128 Parcel Special from Verna to Changsari (CGS) station of Rangiya division of North Frontier Railway (03 Parcel Vans) and to Shalimar station of Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway (02 Parcel Vans) via Roha & Kalyan. The parcel train will carry commodities like medicines, medical equipments, perishable items like mango and other commodities.

In continuation with Press Release dated 19/04/2020 it has been decided to extend one more parcel special train service between Okha & Thiruvananthapuram Central with same scheduled commercial halts and timings.

Train no. 00933 Okha - Thiruvananthapuram Central parcel special will leave from Okha at 13:10 hrs on Monday, 27th April 2020. Train will reach Thiruvananthapuram Central at 12:00 hrs on the third day.

Konkan Railway is running freight trains (24/7) to meet the requirement of essential items for the public throughout the country. Transportation of critical items is going to be very important to mitigate the effects of the lockdown.

It has been decided to run parcel special train between Okha and Thiruvananthapuram Central in co-ordination with Western Railway. The parcel train will carry commodities like medicines, medical equipments, perishable items like mango and other commodities.

In view of the measures taken in the wake of COVID-19, it has been decided by Ministry of Railways that the cancellation of all passenger train services on Indian Railways including Konkan Railway, that is all Mail/Express (including Premium Trains) and passenger trains shall be extended till 24:00 hrs of 03rd May 2020.

To ensure the essential supplies in various parts of the country, movement of Ro-Ro, Goods and Parcel trains will continue.

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the current situation in India and across the World is of grave concern and needs immediate action. At this moment Konkan Railway understands that the need of the hour is greater than any other time.

Konkan Railway is running freight trains (24/7) to meet the requirement of essential items for the public throughout the country. Transportation of critical items is going to be very important in the next few days to mitigate the effects of the lockdown.

Konkan Railway is committed to run the special parcel train from KR section to various stations over Indian Railway, if volume and demand persists. The parcel train can carry essential commodities like medicines, medical equipments and other perishable items like fruits (mango) and vegetables.

While the whole country continues to be completely locked down due to the pandemic of Corona virus, Konkan Railway part of Indian Railways is fully committed to the welfare of the countrymen and is making all efforts to ensure availability of essential commodities through its uninterrupted freight services.

In continuation of the measures taken in the wake of COVID-19, Ministry of Railways has decided to extend the cancellation of passenger train services i.e all Mail/Express trains, premium trains, passenger trains on Indian Railways including Konkan Railway route till 24:00 hrs of 14th April, 2020.

However, freight train operations shall continue to ensure the supply of essential commodities.
