Railway Board has decided to extend the cancellation, partial cancellation and diversion of the following trains upto 10/09/2020:

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 06346 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special Express journey date from 21/08/2020 to 10/09/2020 is cancelled.

2. Train no. 06345 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Thiruvananthapuram Central Special Express journey date from 21/08/2020 to 10/09/2020  is cancelled.

In continuation with the Press Release “Running of Ganpati Special Trains - 2020” dated 14/08/2020, the timings of following Ganpati special trains have been revised.

In continuation with the Press Release “Running of Ganpati Special Trains - 2020” dated 14/08/2020, the timings of Train no. 01111 Mumbai CSMT - Sawantwadi Road Daily Special, journey dated from 25th August to 05 September 2020 has been revised.

The train will arrive at Sawantwadi Road station at 16.30 hrs instead of the earlier notified timing.

Passengers are requested to kindly note the same.

Good News for devotees of Lord Ganesha!!! It has been decided to run additional Ganpati Special Trains in co-ordination with Western Railway & Central Railway between Ahmedabad / Vadodara & Ratnagiri / Kudal / Sawantwadi Road stations to clear extra rush of passengers. 1) Train no. 09416 / 09415 Ahmedabad - Kudal - Ahmedabad Weekly Special on Special Fare:

Konkan Railway celebrated Independence day at Konkan Rail Vihar, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, maintaining appropriate social distancing norms. Shri. Sanjay Gupta / Chairman and Managing Director unfurled the National Flag and addressed Executives and Staff gathered.

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most sacred festivals celebrated in the Konkan region. Considering the importance of the festival and keeping in mind the current scenario of Corona pandemic, Konkan Railway in co-ordination with Central Railway has decided to run Ganpati Special Trains between Mumbai CSMT / Lokmanya Tilak (T) & Ratnagiri / Sawantwadi Road / Kudal stations to clear extra rush of passengers.  Details of trains are as under.

2. Train no. 06345 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Thiruvananthapuram Central Special Express journey date from 09/08/2020 to 20/08/2020 is cancelled.

In continuation to the press release dated 06th August 2020 regarding position of  the trains on Konkan Railway route, the following trains are diverted. Details are as under :

Due to heavy rain in last 24 hrs, tunnel lined wall inside Pernem tunnel at Km 384/6-7 between Madure & Pernem station of Karwar region collapsed at 02:50 hrs on 06th August, 2020. The traffic in this section has been  suspended till further advice. There are no casualties or injuries reported. Konkan Railway officials rushed to the site for early restoration.

Due to this the following trains are diverted :
