The Udhampur – Srinagar- Baramulla Rail Link Project is the most challenging project being undertaken post-independence. It was highly essential to provide an alternative and a reliable transportation system to Jammu & Kashmir to join Kashmir valley to the Indian Railways network. In view of importance of this project in providing seamless and hassle-free connectivity in the State of Jammu & Kashmir, the Project was declared as “National Project” in 2002.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to extend the periodicity of Train no. 02198 / 02197 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Special (Weekly) with in co-ordination with West Central Railway. Train No. 02198 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. Special (Weekly) is extended from 11th January to 29th February 2020 and Train No. 02197 Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Special (Weekly) is extended from 13th January to 02nd March 2020.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to extend the periodicity of Train no.  01467 / 01468 Pune Jn. - Ernakulam Jn. - Pune Jn. Humsafar Special on existing days, stoppages and timings but with revised coach composition in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers. The extended trips will run with revised Train nos. 01469 / 01470 Pune Jn. - Ernakulam Jn. - Pune Jn. Special on Special Fare instead of Train no.  01467 / 01468 Pune Jn. - Ernakulam Jn. - Pune Jn. Humsafar Special. Details are as under.

 Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to augment coaches in the following trains on temporary basis to clear extra rush of passengers.

1. One Sleeper Coach will be augmented to the existing composition of 20 Coaches of Train no. 19260 / 19259 Bhavnagar - Kochuveli – Bhavnagar Weekly Express. The train with revised composition of 21 Coaches will run as under:

   • Train no. 19260 will leave ex. Bhavanagar (Tuesday) from 07/01/2020 to 28/01/2020.

Good news for Passengers!!! It has been decided to extend the periodicity of the following Special Trains on existing days, stoppages, timings and composition to clear extra rush of passengers in co-ordination with Central Railway.

1. Train No. 01051 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Karmali Special (Weekly) leaving ex. Lokmanya Tilak (T) is extended upto 10/01/2020 runs on Friday.

2. Train no. 01052 Karmali - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Weekly) leaving ex. Karmali is extended upto 12/01/2020 runs on Sunday.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to augment one 3 Tier AC coach to the existing composition of 17 Coaches in Train No. 22475 / 22476 Hisar Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Hisar Jn. AC Weekly Express on temporary basis in co-ordination with North Western Railway to clear extra rush of passengers.

Period of  Augmentation of revised composition of 18 Coaches is as under :
1. Train no. 22475 Ex. Hisar Jn. From 02/01/2020 to 30/01/2020.
2. Train no. 22476 Ex. Coimbatore Jn. From 04/01/2020 to 01/02/2020.

Good news for passengers !!! In continuation to the Press Release dated 24th December 2019, it has been decided to provide an additional stoppage to Train No. 09204 / 09203 Bhavnagar – Mangaluru Jn. - Bhavnagar special at Kundapura station.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to run Holiday Special Trains between Bandra (T) / Jamnagar / Ahmedabad Jn. & Thivim in co-ordination with Western Railway  to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter / Christmas 2019. Details are as follows :
1)Train No. 09001 / 09002 Bandra (T) - Thivim - Bandra (T) Special on Special Fare :
Train  No. 09001 bandra (T) - Thivim Special on Special Fare will leave from Bandra (T) at 23:45 hrs on Thursday 26th December 2019. Train will reach Thivim at 12:30 hrs on the next day.

Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to run One Way Special Train from Mangaluru Jn. to Chandigarh to clear extra rush of passengers in co-ordination with Southern  Railway. Details are as under :

Train No. 06039  Mangaluru Jn. - Chandigarh one way  Special  :

Train No. 06039 Mangaluru Jn. - Chandigarh one way Special will leave from Mangaluru Jn. at 21:15 hrs on Friday 27th  December 2019. The Train will reach Chandigarh at 19:00 hrs on Monday 30th December 2019.
