In the wake of Hon’ble Prime Minister's appeal for a ‘Janata Curfew’ on Sunday amid the novel coronavirus crisis, Train services will be regulated on 22nd March 2020 .

All passenger train services originating between midnight of 21st / 22nd March 2020 to 22:00 hrs of 22nd March 2020 will not run. However, the train services that are already on run at 7:00 hrs on the day will to run to the destinations.

Details of Canceled trains are as follows:

It has been decided to cancel the following trains due to the out-break of the pandemic COVID-19.

1) Train No. 11085 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Madgaon Jn. AC Double Decker Bi-Weekly Express is canceled on 23rd, 26th & 30th March 2020.

2) Train No. 11086 Madgaon Jn. – Lokmanya Tilak (T) AC Double Decker Bi-Weekly Express is canceled on 24th , 27th & 31st March 2020.

3) Train No. 12223 Lokmanya Tilak (T) – Ernakulam Jn. AC Duranto Weekly Express is canceled on 21st , 24th, 28th & 31st March 2020.

It has been decided to cancel the following trains due to the out-break of the pandemic COVID-19.

It has been decided by South Western Railway and Railway Board to cancel the services of Train No. 07309 Yesvantpur Jn. - Vasco Da Gama Special on 19th , 20th , 21st ,23rd ,25th ,26th ,27th, 28th ,30th March & 01st April 2020 (Monday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and Train No. 07310 Vasco Da Gama - Yesvantpur Jn.

It has been decided by Railway Board and West Central Railway to cancel the services of Train No. 02198 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. Weekly Special on 21st & 28th March 2020 (Saturday) and Train No. 02197 Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Weekly Special on 23rd & 30th March 2020 (Monday) due to the outbreak of Pandemic of COVID-19

Inconvenience cause is regretted. Passengers are requested to kindly note the same.

It has been decided by Southern Railway to cancel the services of Train No. 22636 / 22635 Mangaluru Jn. - Madgaon Jn. - Mangaluru Jn. “Intercity” Express (Daily) with effect from 19th March 2020 upto 31st March 2020.

In view of the recent developments regarding the novel corona virus (COVID-19), Konkan Railway has taken up the following preventive measures to curb the spreading of the virus over Konkan Railway route:

1. Regular intensive fogging, cleaning and disinfection on all  Konkan Railway owned  trains, major stations covering PFs, circulating area, FOBs, staircases, toilets, booking offices, waiting rooms, retiring rooms, desks counters, door handles knobs and hand touched areas etc.

It has been decided to take a block for up-gradation work of infrastructure, i.e Rail Cutting, Dismantling  of Track & laying of Precast RCC segments for construction of underpass between Mangaon – Veer section near Lakhpale village  on 17/03/2019 between 12:00hrs & 15:55hrs. This underpass will benefit the villagers of Lakhpale to cross the track safely.
Details of repercussions to the trains due to the said work are as under :

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided by Western Railway to augment extra coaches in following trains of permanent basis.

A) Three Sleeper coaches augmented to existing 19 coaches in the following train:
1. Train no. 19424 Gandhidham Jn. - Tirunelveli Jn. Humsafar Weekly Express Ex. Gandhidham Jn. from 16/03/2020 (Monday).
2. Train no. 19423 Tirunelveli Jn.- Gandhidham Jn. Humsafar Weekly Express Ex. Tirunelveli Jn. from 19/03/2020 (Thursday).

The above train will run with a revised composition of 22 Coaches.
