It has been decided by Ministry of Railways to provide stoppage at Kundapura station to Train no. 16312 / 16311 Kochuveli – Sri Ganga Nagar – Kochuveli Weekly Express w.e.f 20/10/2019 (Sunday) & Train no. 22149 / 22150 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. - Ernakulam Jn. (Via Panvel) Bi-Weekly Express w.e.f. 22/10/2019 (Tuesday) on experimental basis for a period of six months. Details are as under :

1)Timings of Train No. 16312 / 16311 Kochuveli – Sri Ganga Nagar – Kochuveli Weekly Express at Kundapura station.

It has been decided by Central Railway to run Train No. 12051 / 12052 Dadar – Madgaon - Dadar Janshatabdi Express with 2 Tier AC in place of Vista Dome Coach up to 20/10/2019. The days of running of Janshatabdi Express with 2 Tier AC Coach in place of vista Dome Coach are as follows :
Train No. 12051 Dadar – Madgaon Janshatabdi Express on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
Train No. 12052 Madgaon – Dadar Janshatabdi Express on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, various swachhata related programmes were organised on Konkan railway. Swachhata Pledge was administered by Shri Sanjay Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director to Executives and Staff of Konkan Railway at CO/Belapur. On this occasion special emphasis was given to shun single use plastic & maintain cleanliness of Railway premises, workplaces and  colonies . Similar programs were organised in Ratnagiri & Karwar regions of Konkan Railway.
