SUPERFAST PREMIUM SPECIAL TRAINS ON KONKAN RLY ROUTE
Good news for passengers !! Superfast Premium Special trains will be run between Ernakulam – Jaipur- Ernakulam, to clear extra rush of passengers. The trains are being run by Konkan Railway in coordination with Suthern Railway . The details are as below :

KONKAN RAILWAY TO REMEMBER ITS HEROES ON 14TH OCTOBER
Konkan Railway passes through the most difficult terrain and has overcome many challenges of Nature right from its construction phase. The railway line could be successfully constructed due to sheer grit and perseverance of all those involved with it. However, as is said, success comes at a price – many men and women, including labourers and Konkan Railway personnel, lost their lives during the construction of the railway line and some on duty during the operations phase.

CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL TRAIN
Train no. 00631 / 00632 Ernakulam – Jaipur – Ernakulam Premium Superfast special train, which was announced earlier, has been cancelled by Southern Railway due to poor demand.
Passengers may kindly note the same.

In terms of the instructions received from Ministry of Railways, Konkan Railway is observing “Rail Hamsafar Saptaah” from 26th May to 1st June 2016. As a part of the same, Intensive Cleanliness Campaign was organized today on the entire Konkan Railway Route on all the Stations, Railway Premises and Trains running over KR Route.

Ministry of Railways has decided to run an Exhibition Train viz. “SCIENCE EXPRESS – BIODIVERSITY SPECIAL” in its Fifth Phase on Konkan Railway Route highlighting scientific & technological developments focusing on biodiversity. This Exhibition Special has been organized by Department of Science & Technology in collaboration with Ministry of Environment & Forests.
