RUNNING OF  SPECIAL TRAINS  ON KONKAN RAILWAY ROUTE DURING ANGANEWADI  FESTIVAL

 
Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run Special Trains between  Dadar  Sawantwadi - Dadar,  Mumbai CST – Zarap – Mumbai CST and Lokmayta Tilak Terminus – Zarap – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on  Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers during Anganewadi   Festival in co-ordination with Central Railway.  The details are as under :-

1. Train No. 01095 / 01096 Dadar – Sawantwadi – Dadar Special :-

Engineering cum Traffic block between Kasu  – Nagothane Stations

 
Central Railway has decided to take up Engineering cum Traffic block between Kasu - Nagothane stations from 12:35hrs to 16:35hrs (Traffic Block) on 19.01.2016 (Tuesday) and  20.01.2016 (Wednesday)  for commissioning of Doubling. Due to which the following trains will be affected :-

1) Regulation of trains on 19/01/2016 (Tuesday) :-

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Good news for passengers !! An additional coach  will be attached to the following trains on temporary basis by Northern Railway. Details are as under :

1) One additional 3-tier AC coach to Train No. 12450  Chandigarh - Madgaon Goa Sampark Karanti Express from 16.01.2016 to 30.01.2016 and  Train No. 12449 Madgaon – Chandigarh Goa Sampark Karanti Express  from 19.01.2016 to 02.02.2016.

Partial Cancellation / Diversion of Trains

Southern Railway has decided to take block in Ernakulam Jn. to take up  Pre NI/NI working from 23.01.2016 to 03.02.2016 for 12 day during  Pre NI/NI period in  connection with removal of scissors cross overs due to which the following trains will be affected:-

Good news for passengers !! Two additional Second Seating coaches will be attached to the following trains on permanent basis. Details are as under :

1. Temporary augmentation of Two Second Seating Coaches to Train no. 12051 Dadar -Madgoan Janshatabdi Express will be Permanent w.e.f. 01.04.2016.

2. Temporary augmentation of Two additional Second Seating Coaches to Train no. 12052 Madgoan – Dadar Janshatabdi Express will be permanent w.e.f. 01.04.2016.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided by Central Railway to attach additional Coaches in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers for Mahaparinirvan Din.

1. Two additional Second Seating coaches to Train No. 50108/ 50106 Madgaon-Sawantwadi -Diva Passenger from 05.12.2015 to 06.12.2015 and Train No.50105 / 50107 Diva -Sawantwadi -Madgaon Passenger from 06.12.2015 to 07.12.2015.

Short Termination / Originate of train service from Panvel.

Due to Dismantling of Hancock ROB between Byculla & Mumbai CST,  Mega block will be taken  by Central Railway  from 00.20hrs to 18.20hrs (18.00hrs block)  on 10/01/2016.

In view of this Central Railway has decided to Terminate / Originate the following trains at Panvel (PNVL) on 10/01/2016.
