Good News for Passengers!!! It has been decided to run Train no. 01171 / 01172 Mumbai CSMT - Sawantwadi Road - Mumbai CSMT Special co-ordination with Central Railway to clear the extra rush of passengers. Details are as under.

1) Train No. 01171 / 01172 Mumbai CSMT - Sawantwadi Road - Mumbai CSMT Special :

As the monsoon season approaches, bringing its characteristic heavy rainfall to the Konkan region, Konkan Railway is stepping up its efforts to ensure the safety and reliability of its train services. A series of comprehensive measures have been implemented to prepare for the challenges posed by the monsoon, focusing on infrastructure maintenance, enhanced patrolling, and emergency preparedness. These efforts are aimed at minimizing disruptions and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of trains, even under adverse weather conditions.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to extend the services of Train no. 02198 / 02197 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Weekly Superfast Festival Special with Monsoon / Non - Monsoon Timings and existing stoppage, composition in co-ordination with West Central Railway with non-monsoon timings. Details are as under:

It has been decided by Southern Railway to revise the dates of line block & power block between Nethravathi - Mangaluru Jn. stations in Palakkad division. Repercussion to train services are as under : 

1. Train no. 06601 Madgaon Jn. - Mangaluru Central Special  journey commences on 19/06/2024 will take extra 60 minutes to reach Mangaluru Central.

It has been decided to extend the periodicity of replacement of one SLR in place of one Generator Car in the following trains for a further period of three months on temporary basis as per details given below:

It has been decided by South Western Railway to replace the conventional rake of train no. 17309 / 17310 Vasco Da Gama - Yesvantpur - Vasco Da Gama Express (Daily) with LHB stock. The revised composition is as under :

With Effect From

It has been decided by Central Railway to short terminate the following trains at Dadar station upto 07/07/2024 due to extension work of Platform no. 10, 11, 12 & 13  work at Mumbai CSMT. Repercussion to train services are as under:

1. Train no. 12134 Mangaluru Jn. -  Mumbai CSMT Express will be short terminated at Dadar station upto 07/07/2024.

2. Train no. 22120 Madgaon Jn. - Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express will be short terminated at Dadar station upto 07/07/2024.

It has been decided by South Western Railway to operate Pre NI and NI block for track doubling work between Majorda Jn. - Cansaulim section. Repercussions to Train services are as under:

1. Train no. 12779 Vasco Da Gama - H. Nizamuddin Goa Express journey commences on 10/06/2024 will be rescheduled for 120 minutes i.e. ex. Vasco Da Gama at 17:00 hrs (Scheduled Departure is 15:00 hrs).
