Good news for devotees of Lord Ganesha!!! It has been decided to run following additional Ganpati Special Trains in coordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival 2021.

1) Train no. 01269 / 01270 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kudal - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Special (Fully Reserved) :

It has been decided by West Central Railway to augment coaches on a temporary basis in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under :

Train no. 02198 / 02197  Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn.  Weekly Superfast Festival Special: 02 Sleeper Coaches are augmented to the existing composition of 21 Coaches. Train will run with a revised composition of 23 coaches on  following days:    

Good news to passengers of Konkan Railway!!! The  Doubling work of 46.8 km track between Roha (Central Railway) to Veer (Konkan Railway) in Ratnagiri region over Konkan Railway completed on 30/08/2021. The doubling work commenced from October 2016. 

Benefits of this project :

• Reduces bottlenecks in this section.

• Enhance Line capacity.

• Improve efficiency in train operation & throughput.

Due to ongoing infrastructure upgradation work of track doubling between Roha - Veer section over Konkan Railway, the following trains are cancelled and rescheduled.

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 01085 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Madgaon Jn. Special journey commences on 30/08/2021 is fully cancelled.

2. Train No. 01113 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. Festival Special  journey commences on  30/08/2021 is fully cancelled.

Train no. 01223 / 01224 Lokmanya  Tilak (T) - Ernakulam Jn. - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Bi Weekly Express Special: Four Sleeper coaches are permanently augmented and Two 3 Tier AC coaches are de-augmented from the existing composition of 14 LHB Coaches. Train will run with a revised composition of 16 LHB coaches  from following days:
