Swachh Bharat is a milestone initiative towards a Clean and Green India. Through “Swachhata Pakhwara’’ Drive Konkan Railway is carrying out cleanliness and awareness campaigns to maintain clean and hygienic Railway Stations,Trains as well as its surrounding areas.

It has been decided to undertake upgradation work of replacement of existing PTFE (Free-end) bearing of steel girder spans of Zuari bridge between Karmali - Verna section in Karwar region from 04/10/2021 to 06/10/2021. Repercussions to train services are as under:

 Regulation of Trains:

1. Train no. 01151 Mumbai CSMT - Madgaon Jn. Special journey dated 04/10/2021 will be regulated at Karmali for 90 mins.

It has been decided by South Western Railway to undertake infrastructure upgradation work of track doubling between Sanvordem - Chandar Goa  - Madgaon Jn. section in Hubballi division of South Western Railway from 03/10/2021 to 10/10/2021. Repercussions to train services are as under:

Cancellation of Trains:

1. Train no. 07339 Yesvantpur - Vasco Da Gama Daily Express Special journey commences from  06/10/2021 to 09/10/2021 is cancelled.

It has been decided by South Central Railway to augment coaches on a temporary basis in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under :

Train no. 07419 / 07420 Tirupati - Vasco Da Gama - Tirupati  Weekly Express Special & Train no. 07021 / 07022 Hyderabad - Vasco Da Gama - Hyderabad  Weekly Express Special: 01 Sleeper Coach is augmented to the existing composition of 10 Coaches. Trains will run with a revised composition of 11 coaches from the  following days:    

It has been decided by Central Railway to standardize the rake of Train no. 01015 / 01016 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Karmali - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Weekly Special by augmenting coaches. Details are as under :

The rake of Train no. 01015 / 01016 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Karmali - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Weekly Special has been standardized by augmenting 02 Three Tier AC Coaches to the existing composition of 20 Coaches. Train will run with a revised composition of 22 LHB coaches from  07/10/2021 (Thursday).
           

It has been decided by Ministry of Railways to introduce a new Train no. 06397 / 06398 Jasidih - Vasco Da Gama - Jasidih Weekly Express Special. Details are as under:

Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Communication and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri. Ashwini Vaishnaw will inaugurate the service, by flagging off through Video Conference at 13:15hrs on 28/09/2021 (Tuesday). Shri. Nishikant Dubey, Hon’ble Member of Parliament will grace the inaugural function at Jasidih.

It has been decided by Ministry of Railways to provide additional stoppage to Train No. 02283 / 02284 Ernakulam Jn. - H. Nizamuddin - Ernakulam Jn. Duranto Special at Surat Station on experimental basis for a period of six months with effect from 30/09/2021.

Train no. 02283 Ernakulam Jn. - H. Nizamuddin Special ex. Ernakulam Jn. dated 28/09/2021 (Tuesday) will reach Surat station on 30/09/2021 (Thursday) & Train no. 02284 H. Nizamuddinz - Ernakulam Jn. Special dated 02/10/2021 (Saturday) will reach Surat station on 03/10/2021 (Sunday). 

In continuation to the Press Release dated 23/09/2021 regarding “Permanent Augmentation of coaches in Special Train”, it has been decided by West Central Railway to cancel the augmentation of First AC coach in Train no. 02198 / 02197  Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn.  Weekly Superfast Festival Special.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to extend the services of following Special Trains.

1. Train no. 01501 Ratnagiri - Madgaon Jn. Daily Reserved Express Special earlier notified upto 01/10/2021 is extended upto 31/10/2021. 

2. Train no. 01502 Madgaon Jn. - Ratnagiri  Daily Reserved Express Special earlier notified upto 29/09/2021 is extended upto 31/10/2021. 

It has been decided by West Central Railway to augment coaches on a permanent basis in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under :

Train no. 02198 / 02197  Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn.  Weekly Superfast Festival Special: 01 First AC and 02 Sleeper Coaches are permanently augmented to the existing composition of 21 Coaches. Train will run with a revised composition of 24 coaches from the  following days:
