Konkan Railway Gears up for Monsoon-2021

This year as the fight against the second wave of Covid-19 strengthens, Konkan Railway continues to be fully committed to the welfare of its passengers. All efforts are being made to maintain track and passenger amenities ensuring all safety related guidelines and Covid-19 protocols.

Extension of the periodicity of Train no. 02198 / 02197 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Weekly Superfast Festival Special

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to extend the services of Train no. 02198 / 02197 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Weekly Superfast Festival Special in co-ordination with West Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers. Details are as under:

1) Train no. 02198 Jabalpur Jn. - Coimbatore Jn.  Weekly Superfast Festival Special runs every Saturday is extended upto 5th June 2021.


2)Train no. 02197 Coimbatore Jn. - Jabalpur Jn. Weekly Superfast Festival Special runs every Monday is extended upto 7th June 2021.

Change in the Terminal & LHB Conversion of Train No. 01151 / 01152 Dadar - Madgaon Jn. -Dadar Janshatabdi Special

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to originate / terminate the Train No. 01151 / 01152 Dadar - Madgaon Jn. - Dadar Janshatabdi Special Daily from Dadar to Mumbai CSMT and to convert the rake into LHB with effect from 10/06/2021 ex. CSMT Mumbai & Madgaon Jn. in co-ordination with Central Railway. Details are as under :

Cancellation of Special Trains due to Cyclone Yaas

It has been decided by South Eastern Railway and South Western Railway to cancel the following Special trains due to Cyclone Yaas:

  1. Train No. 08047 Howrah - Vasco-Da-Gama Special, journey dated 24/05/2021 & 25/05/2021 is cancelled.

  2. Train No. 08048 Vasco-Da-Gama - Howrah Special, journey dated 25/05/2021 & 27/05/2021 is cancelled.

 

Passengers are requested to kindly note the same. Inconvenience caused is regretted.

Cancellation of Special Trains

It has been decided by Southern Railway to temporarily cancel the following Special Trains due to reduction in passenger demand in view of Covid-19 situation:

  1. Train No. 06336 Nagarcoil - Gandhidham Weekly Special Express journey dated 25/05/2021 is cancelled.

  2. Train No. 06335 Gandhidham - Nagarcoil Weekly Special Express journey dated 28/05/2021 is cancelled.

Passengers are requested to kindly note the same. Inconvenience caused is regretted.

Cancellation of Special Trains

Due to reduction in passenger demand in view of Covid-19 situation It has been decided by Southern Railway to temporarily cancel the following Special Trains :

  1. Train no. 06163 Lokmanya Tilak (T) - Kochuveli Bi-Weekly Special is cancelled from 21/05/2021 to 31/05/2021.

  2. Train no. 06164 Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak (T) Bi-Weekly Special is cancelled from 20/05/2021 to 30/05/2021.

Cancellations of Special Trains due to cyclone Tauktae

Due to cyclone Tauktae, it has been decided by South Western Railway, Southern Railway and Western Railway to Cancel / Partially Cancel the following Special Trains :

Cancellation of Trains:

  1. Train no. 09577 Tirunelveli - Jamnagar Special Express journey dated 17/05/2021 (Monday) is cancelled.

  2. Train no. 07342 Vasco Da Gama - Kulem Passenger journey  dated 16/05/2021 (Sunday) is cancelled.

Covid Negative Certificate For Passengers Entering Maharashtra State

As per Order no. DMU/2020/CR.92/DisM-1 dated 12.05.2021, Chief Secretary, Govt of Maharashtra has issued an order extending all the restrictions that have been imposed vide "Break the Chain' orders dated 13th April, 21st April and 29th April, 2021 along with all additions and clarifications issued thereof as wells imposes following additional restrictions in the State till 7 AM on 1st June, 2021.

COVID Negative certificate for Passengers entering Goa state

As per modified Order no. 50-32/COLL(N)/DMC/T.P./2020-21/701 dated 11/05/2021 of Office The Collector & District Magistrate, North Goa District and Order no. 07/DMC/CORONA/2020/4804 dated 11/05/2021 of Office The Collector & District Magistrate, South Goa District, any person entering Goa state must possess a Covid  (RT-PCR) negative certificate obtained within 72 hours from the time they seek entry to the state. This order supersedes all previous orders issued in the matter.
